Colorado Hall Renamed

The Colorado Convention Center’s 5,000-seat lecture hall will be renamed Wells Fargo Theatre under a five-year, $2.6 million naming rights deal announced September 13th.

Under the deal, the bank will pony up $350,000 for in-kind marketing and $150,000 cash annually, with the latter figure growing 10 percent each year, according to the Denver Post.

The name change goes into effect January 1st.

Since opening in 2005, the SMG-managed venue has hosted various concerts, including Alicia Keys, Benise, Drew Carey, Kid Rock, and Kanye West.
