Morning Jams
My Morning Jacket has announced a new round of U.S. concerts – its first headlining shows since last fall.
The Kentucky-based group has been putting in time with Pearl Jam this year, first in North American arenas and currently in Europe.
MMJ will headline a single gig in London September 22 before returning home to gear up for the U.S. tour.
The three-week stretch starts November 9 in Charleston, S.C., and includes stops in Nashville, New Orleans, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia. Double gigs are booked in Dallas and Washington, D.C., and the trek will finish in Boston December 2.
MMJ is to release a live album, Okonokos, this month, to be followed by a DVD version in October. The disc documents two nights at The Fillmore in San Francisco in fall 2005.
