Nightclub To Pay Big After Bouncer Attack

The NSW Supreme Court told operators of Legends Nightclub in Nowra, Australia, they must pay A$573,000 to a man who suffered a fractured skull after an altercation with a bouncer in March 2000.

Brent William Fuz, 30, was arguing with two bouncers after they wouldn’t allow his sister in. His colourful choice of phrases angered Nicholas Carter, who reportedly started swinging.

Fuz fell back and hit his head on the ground. He was taken to the hospital, where X-rays revealed a fractured skull and cerebral hemorrhaging. Justice Studdert said Fuz’s head injury was “significant and permanent.”
