USC’s Galen Center Debuts
University of Southern California officials watched a dream come true October 12th – the debut of the campus’10,258-seat Galen Center arena, which hosted a women’s volleyball game against Stanford.
The $140 million facility was reportedly scheduled to break ground about seven years ago but was put on the back burner because of financial concerns.
The state-of-the-art facility will be home to the Trojan basketball and volleyball teams in addition to hosting concerts and other events.
