The upcoming trek will focus on Woody Guthrie’s Happy Joyous Hanukkah, on which The Klezmatics bring to life a collection of previously unpublished lyrics by the folk legend, who had roots in the Coney Island Jewish community.

The band released another album centered around Guthrie lyrics, Wonder Wheel, earlier this year.

The tour begins November 30 at the Sixth And I Historical Synagogue in Washington, D.C. They’ll hit New York City two days later, then head west for seven dates across Washington, Oregon and California.

The Klezmatics celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band in March with a concert at NYC’s Town Hall.
