L.A. Loses Country Station

Los Angeles was the latest major American city to lose its last country music radio station with the reprogramming of KZLA-FM a few months ago.

But local radio entrepreneur Saul Levine, owner of Mount Wilson Broadcasting, has flipped one of his stations to fill the void.

KKGO-AM made the switch from Frank Sinatra to Brooks & Dunn in mid-October, two months after KZLA gave up on the market.
