The Omaha, Neb., group has shows booked for nearly three weeks, with NYC duo Ratatat opening at many shows.

The trek will begin at Denver’s Ogden Theatre November 28 and finish back home in Omaha with two gigs at Sokol Auditorium December 16-17.

This fall’s concerts will be The Faint’s first live performances since September 2005. The group spent several months that year on tour with Bright Eyes in Europe and the U.S.

The band has been working on a new album but booked the new tour “so we don’t get rusty,” according to its official Web site.
