Following a November trip through U.K. arenas, the band will make abrief U.S. visit for holiday festivals in Denver and Seattle.

Then it’s back to the U.K. and Ireland for another round of arenagigs lasting through December 23.

In February, they’ll hit Japan and Australia before returning toNorth America to launch a month-long tour March 3 in San Diego. Thegroup will play a mix of major cities and more offbeat markets, withTulsa, Okla.; Austin, Texas; Duluth, Ga.; New York City, Montreal andDetroit all on the map.

The North American run will wrap April 6 in Minneapolis.

Snow Patrol released its second album, Eyes Open, earlier this year.The band’s 2006 touring schedule has suffered several setbacks,including polyps on singer Gary Lightbody’s vocal cords and terrorscares that affected the band’s overseas flights.
