Palms to Open New Theatre

Palms Casino Resort is set to open a theatre called The Pearl in the spring of 2007.

The 2,400-capacity venue will feature three levels of seating and 18 private and semi-private sky boxes.

Two 14- by 16-foot video screens will be installed on either side of the stage.

In addition, the new venue will be hardwired to The Studio at the Palms, giving artists the option to record live CDs.
