Tumbleweed For Sale

The 1,900-capacity Tumbleweed music hall in Stillwater, Okla., is going on the auction block December 7th and closing its doors after 25 years December 31st.

The venue has hosted everyone from Chris LeDoux and Willie Nelson to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Third Eye Blind.

The popular Oklahoma State University hangout is the former employer of Garth Brooks, who was a bouncer there before his career took off.

Owner Hank Moore said he grew tired of operating the large-scale venue and plans to pursue other interests.
