Fire crews responding to the arena saw sprinklers going off on the north side of the building near the Bennion room and observed water in the hallways around the box office and streaming down some of the walls.
A broken main for the sprinkler system caused damage to the arena, facility manager George Casper told Pollstar, including wet carpet in the hallways and one office.
Casper added that arena officials were still determining how much of the carpet was salvageable and didn’t have any damage estimates as of yet.
