Station Foam Company President Dies
Aram DerManouelian, president and founder of the company that supplied soundproofing foam to the owners of The Station nightclub prior to the 2003 fire, died December 10th.
The 67-year-old DerManouelian did not face criminal charges in connection with the West Warwick, R.I., fire.
He was, however, added to a civil suit filed in federal court earlier this year on behalf of survivors and victims’ families after allegations surfaced that customers are not warned of possible fire risks per American Foam’s company policy.
The company’s GM has reportedly disputed the claims.
