Live Nation Bulks Up Board

In addition to its consolidation moves with HoB, Live Nation announced December 14th the addition to its board of directors of Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, founder of Miramax Films and The Weinstein Company, and Robert Ted Enloe III.

Weinstein, though better known as one of the world’s top independent filmmakers, has a background in concert promotion not mentioned in the press release announcing his appointment. Before becoming one of the most powerful filmmakers in the world, Weinstein was the major concert promoter in Buffalo, N.Y., with his own company, Harvey and Corky Productions, during the 1970s and early 1980s.

Enloe has been managing general partner of Balquita Partners, a family securities and real estate investment partnership. He currently serves on the corporate boards at Leggett & Platt Inc. and Silicon Laboratories Inc., and is a board member and audit committee chairman for US Investigations Services Inc.
