‘High Fidelity’ Play Bites Dust

The Broadway version of "High Fidelity" bit the dust in early December after 14 performances, less than a month after a Bob Dylan-themed musical got deep-sixed.

Unlike the dreadful Dylan bomb, observers had high-hopes for Fidelity, according to Variety, but reviews deemed it bland.

The losses show how difficult it is for Broadway rookies, the trade mag said.
