‘High Fidelity’ Play Bites Dust

The Broadway version of “High Fidelity” bit the dust in early December after 14 performances, less than a month after a Bob Dylan-themed musical got deep-sixed.

Unlike the dreadful Dylan bomb, observers had high hopes for Fidelity, according to Variety, but reviews deemed it bland.

The losses show how difficult it is for Broadway rookies, the trade mag said.
