The North Carolina-based trio will get rolling soon with a West Coast tour launching January 18 in Centralia, Wash. They’ll play a whopping eight dates in Oregon, including two in Eugene, before heading through California in early February.

The Avetts will finish up with shows in Salt Lake City and Aspen, Colo., then head out again in late March. The band has gigs booked across the South and East Coast through late June, plus a slot at Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival June 21.

Several more shows are sprinkled throughout the summer, and the group will return to California in late October for the Joshua Tree Music Festival and a Santa Barbara gig.

The Avett Brothers’ third album, Four Thieves Gone, was released last year on Ramseur Records.
