Concord Teams With Stax
Legendary Memphis label Stax Records, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2007, is getting a yearlong push from Concord Music Group.
It will include reissues, special live broadcast events, a feature-length documentary and new signings.
In addition, the label will release several collections, the first of which will be Stax 50: A 50th Anniversary Celebration, a two-CD, 50-track anthology of Stax hits.
