Welcome To Pollstar Pro

You’ve just been directed to Pollstar Pro, our powerful new tool for the concert industry executive. Here’s a quick walkthrough for your first visit.

All the four major sections of the new site can be accessed from the tabs near the top of the screen.

You are currently in the News section which includes North American News, International News, and Special Features that include the Year-End special reports and stats. Also included in the section are Gigs & Bytes, Industry Hotwire and a vastly improved news article search engine.

Next is Features, which provides access to the Concert Pulse Chart, Top 50, New Tours, Between The Dates and the Hotstar interview.

The last tab, Custom Research, is where you will find the bulk of PollstarPro’s newest features. Events is an all-purpose search engine to locate information on artists, venues and/or cities – including box office history and itinerary. A user can now get a free view of an artist or venue’s complete itinerary history before deciding to buy the details in a Tour History.

BoxOffice is home to our Box Office data, which will now be uploaded several times per week. Information can now be sorted by gross revenue, date, artist or tickets sold. For further orientation on the Box Office features, please click here for a tutorial video.

Artists is a search engine that can quickly access our artist database, but the Filtered Artist Search can segregate the search by gross revenue or tickets sold. Artists can also be filtered down even further by genre.

Artist Avails is probably our most powerful new search and allows talent buyers to search for artists who have a confirmed booking in their geographic proximity within one, two or three days of their open date. This list can be further refined by music genre or the acts ability to sell tickets.Venue Avails shows dates at venues that have not been reported as filled.

A Venues search is similar to that on Pollstar Online, showing contact info and box office history. A Filtered Venue Search is similar to the Filtered Artist Search, where venues can be located by their city and capacity, and even further narrowed by their type. Pollstar subscribers can now easily see what acts have played the venue.

A Company Search can be as restrictive or as broad as you wish by filling in or leaving black any field in the form. Any field that is not filled in will match all data for that criteria. The company search includes all records from our Booking Agency, Talent Buyer, Artist Management, Concert Venue, Record Company and Concert Support Services directories. The Person Search is a virtual Yellow Pages of the same information and can locate practically anybody in the business in the blink of an eye.
