The disc is titled Drums and Guns and is due out March 20 on Sub Pop. The group will play New York City’s Webster Hall April 6, followed by a handful of East Coast and Midwest dates over the next week.

They’ll visit the U.K. in late April, then launch a West Coast trek June 13 with the first of two shows at Seattle’s Triple Door. The group will also play double gigs in Portland, Ore., and West Hollywood, Calif., along with a single date at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall.

Low comprises founding members Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker with newer addition Matt Livingston on bass. Drums and Guns is the band’s first recorded effort with Livingston, who replaced Zak Sally in 2005.

Drums and Guns was produced by Dave Fridmann, who also worked with the band on its last album, 2005’s The Great Destroyer.

Sparhawk and Livingston toured last fall with their side project, Retribution Gospel Choir. That group, which also includes drummer Eric Pollard, will play a few early February shows in the Midwest.
