The 11-city tour kicks off February 25th at Chicago’s Metro and sticks primarily to cities on the East and West coasts with two shows each in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco and one stop February 27 in Toronto, Ontario.

Bright Eyes began as a side project of frontman Conner Oberst while he was still part of Commander Venus. The once revolving line-up of the band has finally solidified to include Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott.

The band’s next full length release, Cassadaga, is set for release in the U.S. on April 10. In addition to the three core members of the band, the album features guest appearances from Gillian Welch, M. Ward and Sleater-Kinney’s Janet Weiss. In the meantime, the band will release a six song EP titled Four Winds to whet the public’s appetite on March 6.
