Jamboree Taking A Break

Pittsburgh’s Dollar Bank Jamboree country music festival will take a break this summer.

Point State Park, where the event is held, is undergoing a $35 million renovation.

Festival director Paula Hinston told Pollstar that taking a year off was more cost-effective than trying to move such a large event to another site.

The free, one-day festival draws in the tens of thousands and includes headliners such as Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and Clint Black, to name a few.
