The band will be on the road from February 8 to March 3, starting in Lexington, Ky., and focusing on the East Coast and Midwest.

Original members Robert Schneider, John Hill and Eric Allen will be augmented by Bill Doss, John Dufilho and John Ferguson, all of whom began touring with the group in 2006.

Dufilho, who fronts The Deathray Davies, replaced original drummer Hilarie Sidney, who left last year after nearly 15 years with The Apples In Stereo.

Doss is a co-founder of the Elephant 6 collective, which gave rise to the Apples along with friends like Neutral Milk Hotel, Of Montreal and The Olivia Tremor Control.

The Apples are due to release New Magnetic Wonder, their first album since 2002, in February.
