Against The Wave
Folky punks Against Me! have announced a headlining tour with Riverboat Gamblers and Fake Problems supporting.The bands will hit clubs in 17 cities from February 20 to March 10, starting in Saint Augustine, Fla. They’ll head up the East Coast to Canada for five dates in Quebec and Ontario before wrapping in Michigan.
Against Me! toured with Alkaline Trio last spring and opened two shows for The Pogues in Las Vegas later in the year.The Florida-based band will release its major-label debut, New Wave, on Sire/Warner this spring. The disc was produced by Butch Vig, famous for his work on Nirvana’s Nevermind.
The group’s previous two albums were on Fat Wreck Chords.
