Starwood On The Block

Tennessee’s 17,500-capacity Starwood Amphitheatre is the latest shed to be put on the block by Live Nation.

The Antioch venue’s sale is being handled by commercial real estate brokerage CB Richard Ellis, as is the case with three other sheds Live Nation has on the market.

Despite the "for sale" sign, LN is committed to a full 2007 season at Starwood, according to the Tennessean.

The Starwood, which opened in 1985, was acquired in the SFX rollup.

Other LN properties up for sale are the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Noblesville, Ind., Germain Amphitheatre near Cleveland, and Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Marysville, Calif.
