Braxton Drops Lawsuit

Toni Braxton has dropped her $10 million lawsuit against former manager Barry Hankerson and his label, Blackground Records.

A federal court reportedly ordered Braxton to justify the grounds for her lawsuit by January 29th or the case would be dismissed.

The Grammy-winning performer decided to withdraw the suit, according to a statement.

Braxton had accused Hankerson of fraud, deception and double-dealing to coerce her into dropping a lucrative deal with Arista to sign with Blackground in 2003.
