The tour will hit a number of high profile clubs around the country, including San Francisco’s Ruby Skye, Denver’s Vinyl and D.C.’s 9:30 Club.

Two dates on the Diamonds 07 Tour are scheduled to coincide with major music industry events – a March 16 show at Austin’s Spin to tie in with South By Southwest and a March 20 show at Miami’s Pawn Shop to tie in with the Winter Music Conference.

For those not initiated in the sometimes mystifying world of dance music, John Digweed is often considered the DJ, even among other DJs.

He began honing his craft at the tender age of 15 in his hometown of Hastings, England, and scored his first big breakthrough success at London’s famed Renaissance club, where he co-created what is widely regarded as the first proper DJ mix compilation with fellow DJ Sashsa.

Since then he’s gone on to pull off a number of successes worldwide including establishing a residency at legendary New York club Twilo; creating wildly popular club nights like Bedrock, Northern Exposure and Renaissance; playing to huge crowds in the U.S. on the Clear Channel-produced Delta Heavy tour with Sasha and the Area 2 tour with David Bowie and Moby; establishing the Bedrock record label; producing and hosting a popular radio show that’s syndicated in 14 countries; remixing tracks for dozens of artists including Underworld, New Order and Quincy Jones; and scoring several films and an animated version of Spiderman for MTV.

MSTRKRFT is a project of Toronto musician Jesse F. Keeler and producer Al-P. The pair have done remixes for a number of diverse artists including All Saints, Bloc Party, Wolfmother and The Brazilian Girls. Their debut album, The Looks, was released last July.
