Frankie Laine Dies

Frankie Laine died February 6th of cardiovascular disease in a San Diego hospital, his family said. He was 93.

The singer achieved critical success during the 1950s and released albums until recently, with worldwide sales of more than 250 million discs and 21 gold records.

He may be best known for singing the theme songs to the television show "Rawhide" and movie "Blazing Saddles."
