Prescription Mix Killed Levert
Gerald Levert’s death November 10th was the accidental result of a mix of prescription narcotics and over-the-counter drugs.
A February 8th report listed several drugs in Levert’s bloodstream including Vicodin, Percocet, Darvocet, Xanax and two antihistamines.
A spokesman for Levert’s family said the singer was taking some of the meds for chronic pain resulting from a shoulder problem and a 2005 surgery to repair a severed Achilles tendon.
An autopsy also revealed Levert had pneumonia.
