SMG Lands Bakersfield Shed

SMG has been hired to handle management and booking duties at the 4,000-capacity Bright House Networks Amphitheatre in Bakersfield, Calif.

Under the deal, SMG will get $1,500 a month from the city’s general fund and 10 percent of net profits annually to book the shed, which opened last spring, according to the Bakersfield Californian.

SMG also manages the city’s Rabobank Arena.
