The group is slotted for a March 1 one-off at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse, N.Y., followed by an appearance at the Langerado Music Festival in Sunrise, Fla.

They’ll play Tempe Beach Park in Arizona March 31, then launch a headlining run through colleges and performing arts centers April 4 in Oxford, Ohio.

The band will cover the eastern seaboard for most of the run, which is set to finish at the Charlottesville Pavilion in Virginia May 5.

According to a recent post by bassist Benj Gershman, O.A.R. has been writing tunes for a new album, with plans to record later this year. The group took a quick break to tour arenas this January with Gomez supporting.

O.A.R.’s last album, Stories Of A Stranger, was released in 2005.
