Strait Tops ACM Nominations

George Strait leads the list of nominees for the 42nd annual Academy of Country Music Awards with eight nominations, including top male vocalist and entertainer of the year.

Brooks & Dunn and Rascal Flatts are close behind, with seven and six nods respectively. Carrie Underwood has five noms and Big & Rich four.

New artist nominees include Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, Heartland, Taylor Swift, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert.

The event takes place March 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
