Plain White Tour
The Plain White T’s, who were one of the success stories from last year’s Warped and Nintendo Fusion Tours, are headlining their first tour of the U.S.
The band kicked off the tour March 4 in Greenbay, Wis., just a stone’s throw from their native Villa Park, Ill., a suburb west of Chicago.
The two-month trek is scheduled to make nearly 45 more stops across the country including Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit before the band wrap things up with a pair of homecoming shows at Chicago’s Metro/Smart Bar May 2 and 3.
The T’s first caught the public’s ear when several of their songs were used in MTV shows. The band have steadily built a following since then, moving from doing a few dates on the 2003 Warped Tour to playing one of its largest stages in 2006.
The band’s latest album, Every Second Counts, was released last September.
