Other acts scheduled to perform on the festival’s three stages, which are located on cliffs above the Columbia River Gorge, include Citizen Cope, Neko Case, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ozomatli, Spoon, The Polyphonic Spree, Mix Master Mike, Grizzly Bear, Bad Brains and many others.

Tickets are $65 (plus $1 that goes to charity) per day until the week of the show when the price increases to $75 and are currently available through Ticketmaster or at livenation.com.

A limited number of Solid Gold Supertickets and two day passes are also available, as well as camping passes for the three-day weekend. Details are available at the festival’s web site, www.sasquatchfestival.com.

This year’s event also marks the first time the festival will be certified carbon neutral. Festival planners have teamed up with Esurance to purchase carbon credits through Sustainable Energy Partners. For every ton of carbon credits purchased, one ton of CO2 is reduced through reforestation, sequestration and other green-minded projects.

Performers at past Sasquatch! Festivals have included The Shins, Wilco, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Sleater-Kinney, The Flaming Lips, Death Cab for Cutie, The Roots and Cat Power.
