LN Promotes Western Execs

Live Nation announced March 30th it has promoted key execs in the San Francisco, Denver and Phoenix offices, elevating two regional presidents to the title of chairman and promoting others.

Lee Smith of Live Nation San Francisco becomes Chairman Live Nation San Francisco and Denver after serving as president of LN Northwest. His establishment in Denver fills the gap created when Chuck Morris left the company in December.

Rick Mueller was promoted to the position of president of LN San Francisco, where he will run the day-to-day concert operations in the San Francisco, Sacramento and Reno markets.

In Denver, Perry LaVoisne becomes president, handling day-to-day operations in that market. Prior to joining the Denver office, LaVoisne was VP of booking at LN Detroit.

Danny Zelisko gets a new job title as well, from president to chairman of Live Nation Phoenix. He’ll continue to oversee concert operations in Arizona, New Mexico and Las Vegas. Terry Burke has been named president of LN Phoenix and will, like his counterpart in Denver, handle day-to-day operations in his markets.

"These promotions represent our overriding commitment to continue to build an unparalleled North American concert network staffed with the very best in the business," said Jason Garner, Live Nation’s president of North American Concerts. "These executives have distinguished themselves by providing artists with a superior model to reach their local fans."
