Strafacci Named Harborview GM

Global Spectrum has named regional vice president Barry Strafacci as GM of the Harborview Center in Clearwater, Fla.

He will continue in his role as regional VP while overseeing day-to-day operations for the 1,600-capacity Harborview Center, where he acted as the convention center’s first GM in 1996.

Strafacci succeeds Isabelle Blainey, who was named Global Spectrum’s national director of sales.

A 25-year veteran in the venue business, Strafacci as regional vice president has the Tampa Convention Center, the Cashman Center in Las Vegas, the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center and the Miami Convention Center, among others, under his watch.
