Guns N’ Roses might have postponed its Japanese dates, but Paul Dainty of Dainty Consolidated Entertainment insists the band will be in Australia on June 10th to kick off five arena dates.

Guns N’ Roses have asked their idols Rose Tattoo to open for them, as the band did on its visit in 1993 when they played Eastern Creek in Sydney to 71,000 fans and Calder Raceway in Melbourne to 66,000.

Frontier Touring has coupled Steely Dan and World Party for nine arena and winery shows September 8-24.

Frontier will also bring Christina Aguilera back after three years for five arena shows July 14-29. The pop singer will also play her first New Zealand date at Auckland’s Vector Arena July 11th.

Metal and punk fans were happy with announcements of tours by Swiss black metal merchants Celtic Frost through MW Entertainment for two shows June 13-14; German thrashers Sodom through Just Say Rock Productions for five club dates June 8-15; and a double package of U.S. bands Norma Jean and Every Time I Die through Blue Murder for seven club dates June 6-13.

Destroy All Lines has Florida’s Anberlin in Australia for six shows June 8-16, and Darkest Hour for six dates June 6-13.
