Ludacris Misses Lexington Again

Ludacris’ April 20th concert at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky., was canceled the day of the show.

Ludacris was scheduled to perform at the arena February 22nd but postponed the show because of the death of his father.

The February concert was to have a local high school band opening for the rapper until officials were notified of the content of Ludacris’ song lyrics.

This time around, the cancellation was under less dramatic circumstances, according to venue GM Carl Hall.

"Things were not developing as we thought they should, on a timely basis" between the venue, promoter and management, Hall told Pollstar, adding that the community took it well and Ludacris might be back in the market if everything comes together next time.
