What A Drag It Is Getting Old

Apparently Mick Jagger is finding that it really is a drag getting old and he’s scrapped plans to write his life story because he found it too boring.

The 64-year-old Rolling Stones frontman reportedly told the Daily Mirror he started his autobiography after being paid a huge cash advance but has now ditched the project.

"I was sitting around with someone talking endlessly about the past, living in it. And I found it rather dull," he reportedly told the U.K. tabloid. "I’d love to find another form to do it in. A book form but not a showbiz memoir type."

Jagger isn’t the first rock star with a rich and varied lifestyle who’s struggled when it came to documenting it all.

Last June, a report in the Daily Express said Eric Clapton’s ex-wife Pattie Boyd wasn’t happy because he had started to pen his memoirs and she was worried about what he might say.

The Independent claimed the legendary guitarist had been asking old pals to remind him what happened when he was on drink and drugs.
