Carey Bell Dies

Chicago blues harmonica player Carey Bell, 70, died of heart failure in a Chicago hospital May 6th.

Bell was a veteran of Muddy Waters’ and Willie Dixon’s bands and maintained a busy performance schedule with dates scheduled through October.

Funeral arrangements were still pending at press time and expected to be posted at piedmonttalent.com when they were made available.
