Warg Moves To Olympia

Dana Warg, who served as senior VP of facilities at AEG since 2004, has been named president of Detroit-based Olympia Entertainment.

Warg will oversee the operation of Detroit’s Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, City Theatre and other Olympia-operated Detroit venues.

"Dana will be a great asset to the company and region with his proven track record and comprehensive background in global operations, booking, venue acquisition, team negotiation and facilities management," Olympia CEO Christopher Ilitch said in a statement.

Warg oversaw the day-to-day booking operations for all AEG-owned and operated venues in the U.S., England and Germany. He is a veteran of Ogden Entertainment, the former CEO of Minneapolis’ Target Center and VP of arena operations for SFX and, subsequently, Clear Channel Entertainment.
