Webb New Okanagan GM

Global Spectrum named Curtis Webb GM of the new South Okanagan Event Centre in Penticton, British Columbia, effective May 22nd.

Webb, a 10-year veteran in sports and entertainment, was most recently director of operations at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colo., which Global Spectrum also runs.

The 5,000-seat Okanagan facility is set to open in 2008. Webb will oversee the complex, which will also contain the 2,000-seat Memorial Arena and the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre, including booking, financial review, marketing and PR.

Webb previously spent time at American Airlines Center in Dallas and Gund Arena in Cleveland.
