Diddley Hospitalized
Bo Diddley, 78, was admitted into Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., after suffering a stroke May 13th.
Diddley was showing signs of disorientation following a concert at Harrah’s Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa, according to a statement. The rock ‘n’ roll pioneer has a history of hypertension and diabetes, and was admitted with elevated blood pressure and glucose levels.
Tests indicated Diddley had a stroke that affected the left side of his brain, impairing his speech and speech recognition, the statement said. He apparently remains listed as "guarded" in intensive care.
