All’s Fair For Lucas

Dave Lucas Entertainment has been tapped to book concerts at the Indiana State Fairgrounds’ Pepsi Coliseum, as well as for the annual state fair, according to a statement.

The company, founded in 2005 by Indiana native and longtime promoter and music exec Dave Lucas, will also consult on marketing, publicity and production issues while the fairgrounds does the promoting.

"We’re excited to be part of the future of the State Fairgrounds," said Lucas, who founded Sunshine Concerts. "Having grown up in Indianapolis, I have a deep appreciation for the entertainers who have performed at the fairgrounds over the years, and look forward to working with the fairgrounds to add to its incredible tradition."

Already on the books for the state fair August 8-19 are Casting Crowns and Jeremy Camp; Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean; Kenny Rogers and The Oak Ridge Boys; and "American Idols Live" tour.

Lucas’ Live-360 concert promotion company continues to operate.
