LN Pittsburgh Layoffs

Veteran Pittsburgh promoter Ed Traversari and three other Live Nation employees have been released from the Pittsburgh office, Pollstar has learned.

Traversari handled theatre buying and was expected to be the GM of the Amphitheatre at Sandcastle – the formerly named Chevrolet Amphitheatre that has been moved to a space along the Monongahela River.Construction delays have pushed the reopening to next year.

Travesari, who started his career at DiCesare-Engler in 1976, was familiar to the Pittsburgh radio listeners because he announced concerts at 5 a.m. on WDVE-FM for years, according to the Post-Gazette.

Live Nation had no comment at press time.
