M.I.A. Missing From Sasquatch

Fulfilling her acronym, M.I.A. was indeed missing from this year’s Sasquatch festival lineup following visa issues that led to a cancellation of her performance.

The festival Web site posted a statement May 22nd explaining that "unexpected delays in the processing and issuance of M.I.A.’s artist visa have forced her to cancel her appearance at this year’s Sasquatch Festival."

The Long Winters have been added to the lineup.

Representatives for M.I.A. would not comment.
