The new set of dates kicks off June 1 at the Moore Theatre in Seattle. Carlile will play a total of eight dates on her own, including June 3 at Music Millennium in Portland, Ore., an acoustic set June 8 at Richard’s On Richards in Vancouver, B.C., July 1 at the Sunset Music Festival in Newport, R.I., and July 29 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Support for Carlile’s headlining shows comes courtesy of a rotating lineup of Cary Brothers, Mark Pickerel and Reeve Carney.

Carlile’s 15 support dates for Indigo Girls begin June 4 at Humprey’s Concerts by the Bay in San Diego and are scattered throughout the country, including June 11 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, June 15 at the Britt Pavilion in White City, Ore., June 21-21 at the Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, Colo., and August 15 at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland, Vt.

This isn’t the first time Carlile has worked with Indigo Girls. The Story, which was recorded in a lightning-quick 11 days with producer T-Bone Burnett, features a guest appearance by the duo.
