Stabbings At Minneapolis Concert

Three people were stabbed during a May 27th concert at a rental hall in Minneapolis and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Somali singer Hassan Adan Samatar was the top-billed act, according to WCCO-TV, but it is unclear who was onstage when violence broke out on the dance floor.

Police said the crowd was loud but not difficult overall, the television station reported. Police told the station they were looking for suspects and would benefit from any video taken by fans at the concert.

The police department does not deal with many calls from the rental facility, Profile Event Center, regarding events or concerts, Lt. Kim Lund said.
