And They Sing Too!
The Bacon Brothers, the Bruce Willis Blues Band, and Dennis Quaid & The Sharks have all signed on for Netflix Live! On Location , which pairs movies with live musical performances by the films’ featured stars in the cities where the movies were shot.
Quaid will kick off the free series June 21 at Spanish Plaza in New Orleans with a set that precedes a screening of the 1987 thriller “The Big Easy.”
On July 15, the second gig in the series features The Bacon Brothers at the West Shore Park in Baltimore, Md., accompanied by a showing of Bacon’s 1982 hit “Diner.”
The Bruce Willis Blues Band rounds out the series in Florida August 2 with a performance in the Rocket Garden at the Kennedy Space Center’s Visitor Complex, followed by – what else? – the 1998 sci-fi disaster flick “Armageddon.”
The host for all three events is actress and television correspondent Maria Menounos.
