The next chance to catch Poundstone live will be June 30 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas. She’ll follow that up with a three night run at The Improv in Irvine, Calif. (July 6-8) and a two night run at Jonathan’s in Ogunquit, Maine (July 13-14).

Other cities on the comedian’s calendar through the end of the year include Bar Harbor, Maine; Austin, Texas; Ridgefield, Conn.; Reno, Nev; Phoenix; Greyslake, Ill.; Salt Lake City; Boston and Cleveland.

So far Poundstone’s 2008 scheduled includes stops in Cedar Falls, Iowa; Greensboro, N.C.; Green Bay, Wis.; Las Vegas and Atlanta.

In addition to her tour schedule, the comedian has kept herself busy recording a special for Bravo, “Look What The Cat Dragged In,” appearing regularly on the NPR programs “A Prairie Home Companion” and “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me” and releasing her first book, “There’s Nothing In This Book That I Meant To Say.”

And of course there’s also her life at home, which includes “three children ages 14, 11 and 8, nine cats, a big cat-eating dog, a bearded dragon lizard, an elderly bunny, and one doggedly determined ant” left over from her ant farm.
