OKC State Fair Gets $20M

Oklahoma City officials have earmarked $20 million for renovations at the city’s 12,500-capacity State Fair Arena.

The city council approved the cost thanks to higher-than-expected hotel tax revenue.

Upgrades to the arena will include new seating and a new scoreboard, restrooms, meeting space, roof replacement, security improvements and a new entrance.
